A lower-cost TradeZella alternative for Interactive Brokers traders

If your trades are at Interactive Brokers and you mainly need automatic imports, honest review numbers and your fills drawn on TradingView, FillScope does that for less: free for the last 90 days, Pro $9.99/month or $79/year. TradeZella is the broader platform — 500+ brokers and integrations and built-in backtesting — from $35/month.

When TradeZella is the better choice

Pick TradeZella if you trade through several brokers or prop-firm platforms, want backtesting and replay in the same tool, or need many accounts in one workspace (its plans list 1, 50 and unlimited accounts). Those features are the reason its plans cost more, and FillScope does not try to replace them.

When FillScope is the better choice

Pick FillScope if your trades are at Interactive Brokers and what you need is the review loop: automatic imports, the core numbers (Edge Score, expectancy, R-multiple, drawdown, time-of-day edge), mistake and psychology notes — and your fills drawn on the TradingView charts you already use. A year of Pro is $79, about a quarter of TradeZella's lowest yearly plan; the free plan costs nothing and still imports from IBKR automatically.

Switching from TradeZella with an IBKR account

Both products read IBKR through a Flex Web Service token and a Flex Query, so you do not need a CSV export from TradeZella: FillScope rebuilds your history straight from IBKR. Create or reuse an Activity Flex Query that contains the sections in the FillScope Flex Query guide, paste the token and query ID, and check the import-health panel. Notes and tags you wrote inside TradeZella stay there unless you export them yourself.

Questions

Is there a free TradeZella alternative for Interactive Brokers?

FillScope has a free plan that imports your last 90 days from Interactive Brokers automatically, with no card. Pro, with full history and deeper analytics, is $9.99 a month or $79 a year.

Is FillScope cheaper than TradeZella?

Yes, at list prices on 20 October 2026: FillScope Pro is $9.99 a month or $79 a year; TradeZella starts at $35 a month or $315 a year (Essential). TradeZella includes features FillScope does not have, such as backtesting and 500+ broker integrations.

Does FillScope sync with IBKR automatically like TradeZella?

Yes. Both use an IBKR Flex Web Service token and a Flex Query. FillScope refreshes the configured Flex report on a schedule and records each import's health; it does not receive live executions from TWS.

Does FillScope have backtesting?

No. FillScope is a review journal for trades you have already made. If backtesting or market replay is essential, TradeZella or TraderSync list those features.

Can I see my trades on TradingView with FillScope?

Yes. The free FillScope for TradingView extension draws each imported trade, from entry to exit with its P&L, on the TradingView chart you open. It is read-only and runs in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc.
