Trading journal for TradingView
A trading journal that shows your trades on TradingView
FillScope imports your trades from Interactive Brokers and its free browser extension draws them on the TradingView chart you already use: every entry and exit, the whole trade journey, and the profit or loss of each trade. No manual logging, nothing to redraw.

How do I show my trade history on a TradingView chart?
- Create a free FillScope account and import your trades: Interactive Brokers through a Flex Query (automatic), or a Midas / Akbank export.
- Download the extension from the FillScope for TradingView page, unzip it, open
chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode and choose Load unpacked. - Stay signed in at fillscope.com, sign in to TradingView (a free TradingView account is enough) and open any chart. Your trades in that symbol are drawn on it.
Because the extension reads your broker history in FillScope — not a TradingView broker connection — it shows every imported IBKR trade wherever you placed it: TWS, IBKR Mobile, the IBKR web portal or TradingView's IBKR connection.
What you see on the chart
- Trade journeys: each position from first fill until it is flat again — the cost line, a box from entry to exit and the profit or loss in a disc. Green for wins, orange for losses, blue while open.
- Step through trades: jump the chart to your previous or next trade in that symbol, with dates and holding time.
- Symbol panel: realized P&L for the symbol, win rate, commissions, open position and latest fills.
- Totals: today, this week, this month and this year, plus your top winners and losers.
Everything stays in your own TradingView layout, with your indicators and drawings. The extension is read-only: it cannot place orders and sends nothing to TradingView or your broker.
Three ways to journal with TradingView
| Approach | How trades get in | Where you see them | Analytics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manual Pine Script journal indicators | You type each trade into the indicator settings (for example Ultra Trade Journal) | On tradingview.com | Whatever the script calculates |
| Journal apps with embedded TradingView charts | Broker import or sync (for example TradesViz, which lists TradingView-powered charts) | Inside the journal's own website | Full journal analytics |
| FillScope + extension | Automatic IBKR Flex import; Midas and Akbank exports | On tradingview.com, in your own layouts | Full journal analytics in FillScope |
What it costs
The extension is free with any FillScope account. The free plan imports your last 90 days, so the chart shows those trades. FillScope Pro — $9.99/month or $79/year with a 30-day free trial (card required) — keeps your full history on every chart and adds R-multiple, expectancy, risk, time-of-day edge, psychology tracking and AI trade review. Questions
Is there a trading journal that connects to TradingView?
Yes. FillScope imports your broker trades (Interactive Brokers automatically through Flex, or Midas and Akbank exports) and its free browser extension draws them on the TradingView chart you are viewing, with entries, exits and P&L.
Can I see my Interactive Brokers trades on TradingView?
Yes. With FillScope's free extension, every IBKR trade in your imported history appears on the matching TradingView chart, including trades placed in TWS, IBKR Mobile or the IBKR web portal.
Is the FillScope TradingView extension free?
Yes. It works with every FillScope account. The free plan imports your last 90 days; Pro ($9.99 a month or $79 a year) shows your full history.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
No. TradingView only lets signed-in users place drawings, so you need to be signed in; a free TradingView account is enough.
Can the extension place trades?
No. It is read-only. It reads the symbol of the chart you have open, asks FillScope for your realized trades in that symbol and draws them. It cannot place orders.
Which browsers are supported?
Chromium browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. Safari and Firefox are not supported yet. Until the Chrome Web Store listing is live, it is installed from a zip file.
